Product Description
Printing process is the process of printing patterns on textiles with dyes or pigments. Printing can be divided into fabric printing, wool top printing and yarn printing, and fabric printing is the main type. Wool top printing is used to make mixed color tweed; Yarn printing is used to weave special style colored pattern fabrics. Textile printing has a long history. Hollow out printing has been applied in China in the Warring States period (see the history of Chinese dyeing and finishing). India already had wood stencil printing in the 4th century BC. Continuous concave roller printing began in the 18th century (see roller printing). Screen printing is developed from hollowed out version, which is suitable for small batch and multi variety printing of easily deformed fabrics.
Printed fabric is an artistic product. The corresponding printing process is selected according to the designed pattern. Direct printing, anti dyeing printing and discharge printing are commonly used. Direct printing is to directly print dyes or pigments on white or light colored fabrics, and then obtain patterns through post-treatment such as steaming. The process flow is short and widely used. Anti dyeing printing is a material printed on the fabric to prevent the dye from dyeing or color rendering, and then dyed or color rendering, so as to obtain patterns on the dyed fabric. Discharge printing is a printing process in which the material of dyeing dye is printed on the dyed fabric to eliminate the dyeing dye and obtain the pattern on the dyed fabric.
